Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch July 08 after Nashville

On our way home we stopped by to tour the ranch!!! We toured the country side first. Our "First Lady" (GPS) was just a little off. Soooooo, we drive down all these country roads and finally she says "You have arrived at your destination" We were on a small dirt road and all we could see was trees!!! All I could do was laugh!!! We did finally arrive at the ranch!!!

Our Vacation with Uncle Dee and Aunt Janice Nashville TN

We had such a great time with our family in Nashville July 08. The girls loved the zoo. The Opryland Hotel was beautiful!!! Payton loved the coke at the Grand Ole Opry. What goes up must come down!! She was a mess, but finally crashed. Thank you Uncle Dee, Aunt Janice and Kallie!!!! No more coke for her!!!!!!!!!! We enjoyed riding in the carriage through downtown at night. More shopping at Opry Mills would have been great!!!! Patrick says NO way. We should have dropped the men off at Hooters!!!
The most valuable luggage EVER!!!

Hanna Montana 4D July 2008

Yes!! My girls love Hanna!! Even Daddy had to join in!!

Happy 4th of July camping at Lake Degray

We had a blast camping!! Lake Degray Resort had plenty to offer for a great time. The fireworks were beautiful!! We enjoyed our campsite. The roasted wienies, marshmallows(smores), snicker bananas were all so yummy. Daddy cooked the best breakfast ever. The girls loved horseback riding. Payton was too little so Daddy stayed back with her. Patrick and Brooke went snorkeling. Brooke did not like it so much. She just saw brown water and they talked about water snakes so she was ready to hang out in the boat. The sunset cruise turned out to be beautiful. It was pretty hot and Payton was getting tired and grouchy. She loved rolling in the dirt with Miley at the campsite. The girls enjoyed the beach and swimming. We had a great time and plan on camping more next summer.

Landscaping backyard

What fun we had! Landscaping is a lot of work, but worth all the time when each project is completed. Here is how it worked at our house......I told Patrick my idea(he did get some input) then he drew the plans then we priced then we started with another plan then Patrick drew the plans then we priced then we started with different plans and priced.........Finally, we had it all figured out within our budget. Soooo, Patrick drew the plans; we shopped and the project began. Patrick has to have everything exact measurement and leveled perfectly. I on the other hand just look and say that looks good to me. It all turn out ok!! I only kicked dirt on him a few times. I shoveled he measured!!!!
